Vacancy Details & Pay Scale

Applications are open for the following academic posts:

Assistant Professor (Grade-II): Academic Pay Level 10 to Level 11. Candidates with less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience may be considered for this contractual position. Age Limit: Below 35 years.

Assistant Professor (Grade-I): Academic Pay Level 12 (Minimum basic pay of Rs. 1,01,500/- per month). This position requires a minimum of three years of relevant teaching, research, or industrial experience. Age Limit: Below 35 years.

Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level 13A2 (Minimum basic pay of Rs. 1,39,600/- per month). Candidates must have a minimum of six years' experience in teaching, industry, or research, of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade-I), Senior Scientific Officer, or Senior Design Engineer. Age Limit: Below 45 years.

Professor: Academic Pay Level 14A (Minimum basic pay of Rs. 1,59,100/- per month). This senior role requires a minimum of 10 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or professional experience, of which at least four years must be at the level of Associate Professor in reputed institutions. Age Limit: Below 55 years.

Essential Qualifications

• All applying candidates must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area with first-class or equivalent grades at the preceding degree level.

• A consistently good academic record throughout the candidate's educational history is mandatory.

Perks and Allowances

Start-up & Relocation: The Institute provides significant start-up research grants and support to cover relocation expenses for new faculty members.

Professional Development: A Cumulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA) of Rs. 3 lakhs for every block of 3 years is provided to meet expenses for participating in conferences and paying membership fees to professional bodies.

Standard Benefits: Other benefits include HRA (if Institute accommodation is not provided), LTC, Medical reimbursement, Transport Allowance, Children's education allowance/hostel subsidy, and contributions toward the New Pension Scheme (NPS).
