Background & Objective

IISER Tirupati is looking for qualified Indian nationals and eligible overseas candidates to join its faculty. The objective is to strengthen its academic framework by recruiting experts who hold a strong academic record and are capable of driving innovation in research and education within a premier institutional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential: Ph.D. with a consistently strong academic record in the relevant discipline.

• Specific for Grade-II: Ph.D. must be in Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics.

Experience Requirements:

• Professor: Minimum 10 years of post-PhD experience, including at least 4 years as an Associate Professor at a reputed institute.

• Assistant Professor (Regular): At least 3 years of post-PhD research or teaching experience.

• Assistant Professor (Grade-II): Ph.D. holders looking for contractual/entry-level faculty roles.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in one of the active departments: Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth & Climate Sciences, Economics & Statistics, Physics, or Plant Sciences.

• Proven track record of high-impact research publications.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective classroom instruction.

• Ability to manage research labs and guide doctoral students.
