Regular faculty positions are open to Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).

Academic Departments & Thrust Areas

The vacant positions span across three primary divisions:

• Natural Sciences: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Physics.

• Engineering Sciences: Chemical Engineering, Data Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Positions, Eligibility & Pay Structure

1. Assistant Professor Grade I

• Pay Level: Pay Level 12 (Initial Pay: INR 1,01,500/-).

• Eligibility Criteria: Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree. Specialization in the appropriate discipline with an excellent overall academic record.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-PhD industrial, research, or teaching experience.

• Career Progression: Service of 3 years at Pay Level 12 enables consideration for placement to Pay Level 13A1, subject to performance evaluation.

2. Associate Professor

• Pay Level: Pay Level 13A2 (Initial Pay: INR 1,39,600/-).

• Eligibility Criteria: Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree, excellent academic record, and proven leadership skills.

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of teaching/research experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor Grade-I, Senior Scientific Officer, or Senior Design Engineer.

Key Perquisites & Allowances

• Housing & HRA: Campus residential accommodation provided upon joining (subject to availability) or HRA as per norms.

• NPS Coverage: National Pension System coverage with employer contribution of 14% (Basic + DA).

• CPDA Funding: INR 1,00,000/- per financial year under Cumulative Professional Development Account (CPDA) for conferences, professional memberships, and books.

• Relocation Expenses: Reimbursement up to ₹1,25,000/- for international candidates and ₹75,000/- for domestic candidates.

• Telephone/Data Allowance: Reimbursement up to ₹2,250/- p.m. + applicable taxes.

• Additional Benefits: Leave Travel Concession (LTC) with leave encashment, Children Education Allowance, and medical expense reimbursements for self and dependent family members.
