The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Una, Himachal Pradesh, has invited applications from enthusiastic and dynamic Indian nationals with excellent academic records for the positions of Faculty Member (On Contract) and Associate Faculty Member (On Contract) in the School of Computing. The appointments are purely on a temporary contractual basis for a fixed duration.

About IIIT Una

Indian Institute of Information Technology Una (Saloh) is one of the twenty IIITs established under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of Himachal Pradesh, HP Power Corporation Limited, and HP Transmission Corporation Limited.

The institute offers undergraduate programmes with admissions through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.

Position Details

Essential Qualifications

Option 1

• Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or a relevant discipline with:

  • First Class or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale, and

  • M.Tech. and B.E./B.Tech. in CSE or relevant discipline with First Class or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.

Option 2

• M.Tech. in CSE or a relevant discipline with:

  • First Class or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale, and

  • B.E./B.Tech. in CSE or relevant discipline with First Class or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale, along with relevant teaching experience at UG/PG level.

Candidates must be either GATE or NET qualified.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Quality publications

• Relevant teaching or research experience

• GATE/NET qualification

Remuneration

• For Ph.D. holders: ₹90,000 per month (Consolidated)

• For Master’s degree holders: ₹60,000 per month (Consolidated)
