Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Una has announced a Walk-in Interview for the recruitment of Faculty / Associate Faculty Members (On Contract) in the School of Computing for the Academic Year 2026–27. Eligible candidates with strong academic credentials and teaching experience are invited to attend the interview.

Position Details

• School: School of Computing

• Position: Faculty / Associate Faculty Member (Contract)

• Number of Posts: 07 (May increase or decrease)

• Appointment Type: Contract (Academic Year 2026–27)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess either of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

• UG and PG degrees in the relevant discipline with First Class or minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.

Option 2

• UG and PG degrees in the relevant discipline with First Class or minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.

• Relevant teaching experience at the UG/PG level.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Quality research publications.

• Relevant teaching or research experience.

• GATE/NET qualification.

Salary

• Ph.D. Holders: INR 90,000 per month (Consolidated)

• Master's Degree Holders: INR 60,000 per month (Consolidated)

Selection will be through a Walk-in Interview.

• Walk-in Interview Date: 18 July 2026

• Registration Time: 09:00 AM

• Registration Closes: 12:30 PM

• Venue: Senate Room, IIIT Una

Important Instructions

• Candidates must bring the duly filled application form at the time of registration.

• Appointment is purely temporary for the Academic Year 2026–27 (maximum one academic year).

• Applicants currently employed should produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• The institute reserves the right to increase or decrease vacancies and reject any application without assigning any reason.
