The Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) is inviting online applications for a regular faculty position. The current vacancy is for the role of Professor within the Institute's Health Policy Research Unit.

Position Overview

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill either Condition A or Condition B to be eligible for the position:

Condition A Requirements: * Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Economics, Health Management, Health Policy, Demography, or Public Health.

• Applicants need a minimum of 10 very good research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

• A total research score of 120 is required, as per the specified criteria (Appendix-II, Table 2).

• Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of teaching or research experience at an equivalent level.

• Evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates is mandatory.

Condition B Requirements: * Outstanding professionals with a Ph.D. degree in Economics from an academic institution or industry are eligible.

• Applicants under this condition must have significant publications and made contributions to Health Economics, Health Policy, Health Management, Demography, or Public Health.

• This must be supported by documentary evidence showing ten years of experience.
