Pay Scale

Professor: INR 1,44,200–INR 2,18,200
Associate Professor: INR 1,31,400–INR 2,10,800
Assistant Professor: INR 57,700–INR 92,500

Vacancies are distributed across Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels, with category-wise reservations specified in the official advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications and experience will be governed by the applicable UGC Regulations, 2018, along with NCTE and AICTE regulations wherever relevant.

Professor

Candidates should generally possess:

• A Ph.D. in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline.

• A strong record of research publications.

• At least ten years of teaching or research experience.

• The required research score and experience prescribed for the relevant discipline.

Associate Professor

Candidates should generally possess:

• A Ph.D. in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline.

• A master’s degree with at least 55% marks.

• At least eight years of teaching or research experience.

• The prescribed number of publications and research score.

Assistant Professor

Candidates should generally possess:

• A master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant or allied discipline.

• NET, SLET or SET qualification.

Candidates holding an eligible Ph.D. may receive exemption from NET, SLET or SET according to the applicable UGC regulations. Qualifications vary for Design, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Management and Teacher Education positions; applicants should review the discipline-specific requirements carefully.
