Faculty Recruitment 2026: Inter University Centre for IPR Studies (IUCIPRS), CUSAT
The Inter University Centre for IPR Studies (IUCIPRS), under the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), has released a official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for contract engagements on a five-year tenure-track basis in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

Qualifications & Minimum Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must fulfill the following primary criteria (i AND ii) along with any post-specific requirements (iii):
I. General Academic Requirements
Master’s Degree: Minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an Accredited Foreign University.
Ph.D. Degree: Must be awarded in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and their subsequent amendments.
II. Post-Specific Compulsory Requirements
In addition to the Master's and Ph.D. requirements, certain posts have mandatory specialized experience:
For Sl. No. 2 (Jurisprudence): * Graduation in Law AND
One year of teaching experience in IPR OR One year of research experience in IPR.
For Sl. No. 3 (Commerce/Economics/Political Science): * One year of teaching experience in IPR OR One year of research experience in IPR.
For Sl. No. 5 (IPR - Dheevara): * One year of teaching experience in IPR OR One year of research experience in IPR OR Status as a Registered Patent Agent.
