Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• Master's Degree in Statistics with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian University or an accredited foreign university.

• Must have qualified UGC-NET/CSIR-NET or an equivalent accredited eligibility test such as SLET/SET.

• Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations are also eligible as applicable under UGC norms.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Statistics.

• Support curriculum delivery and academic activities within the department.

• Guide students in academic and research-related work.

• Participate in departmental responsibilities and institutional initiatives.

• Contribute to research and other scholarly activities whenever required.
