Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess qualifications as prescribed under AICTE Regulations.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates should have:
B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech.
Degree(s) in the relevant branch of engineering.
First Class or equivalent grade in any one of the degrees obtained.
Desirable Qualification
VICT Certificate (preferred).
Tenure Period
The appointment will be made on a five-year tenure basis.
Evaluation Process
Annual performance evaluations will be conducted at the Department level.
A comprehensive review will be undertaken by the University during the third year.
Continuation in the position will be subject to satisfactory performance and academic contributions.
Pay and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:
Salary equivalent to the pay structure prescribed by the Government of Kerala for contract teachers.
Periodic pay revisions as applicable.
Eligibility for gratuity benefits under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, upon completion of five years of continuous service.
Other admissible benefits as per University norms.
Vacation Policy
As KMSME is a non-vacation department, faculty appointed under this recruitment will not be eligible for vacation benefits.
Performance and Service Conditions
Annual performance will be reviewed regularly.
Unsatisfactory performance or violation of University regulations may result in termination as per applicable rules.
Continuation of appointment will depend upon meeting prescribed academic and institutional expectations.
