The Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University has invited applications for a part-time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Philosophy and Law. The vacancy is intended for candidates specialising in speculative philosophy within the Thomist tradition.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to participate in:

• Teaching and pedagogical activities

• Scientific and academic research

• Faculty-related academic and institutional activities

• Other duties associated with the position

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A Doctor of Philosophy degree

• Specialisation in speculative philosophy within the Thomist tradition

• Knowledge of at least one major international language

• Civic and moral integrity

Experience working at an educational institution will be considered an advantage. Previous participation in research projects is also desirable.
