Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the relevant or allied subject from a recognised Indian university or an accredited foreign university.

Relevant disciplines include:

• Political Science, Public Administration, Human Rights, International Relations or allied areas

• History or allied areas

• Economics or allied areas

• Library and Information Science or allied areas

Candidates must also have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET or SET.

Applicants holding a Ph.D. in accordance with applicable UGC regulations may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET requirements, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed conditions.

Appointment Duration

The appointment will remain valid until the end of the academic session 2026–27. The engagement will be purely temporary and may be terminated according to university rules.
