The Opportunity

We invite applications for a Professor of Economics / Health Economics to help establish the Mumbai campus as a centre of excellence. The successful candidate will:

• Lead world-class research and publish in top-tier journals.
• Shape the research agenda nationally and internationally, including external funding and collaborative initiatives.
• Provide academic leadership and mentorship for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.
• Design and deliver innovative undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
• Engage with industry, government and community partners in Maharashtra and beyond.

Candidate Profile

• PhD in Economics/Health Economics (or related field) from a recognised institution, or equivalent experience.
• Appropriate academic professional and teaching qualification.
• Extensive experience of research and teaching in Economics/Health Economics.
• International standing with a substantial publication record in leading peer-reviewed journals.
• Sustained success in securing research grants and other external funding.
• Proven academic leadership and managerial capability.
