About the Opportunity

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela invites applications from motivated and qualified Indian nationals for Ad Hoc Faculty Positions in the Department of Civil Engineering.

This is a teaching-focused temporary position for the Autumn 2025-26 academic session, with potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.

• Specialization Required:
• Construction Technology and Management or equivalent
• Educational Qualification:
• B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering
• M.Tech and Ph.D. in relevant specialization

Remuneration

• ₹70,900/- per month – For candidates with a Ph.D.
• ₹57,700/- per month – For candidates without a Ph.D.
