Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), established in 2016 under the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, is a prominent central university located in Motihari, Bihar. Named after the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the university is situated in a region historically significant for Gandhi’s first Satyagraha movement in 1917.
