Positions Available

We are recruiting for the following positions:

  • Professor
  • Associate Professor
  • Assistant Professor (Grade I & II)
  • Visiting Professors (Contract/Deputation)
  • Retired Professors (on Contract)

Disciplines

We invite applications across a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • Biosciences and Bioengineering: Biomedical Instrumentation, Neurobiology, 3D Bioprinting.
  • Chemical Engineering: AI in Chemical Processes, Biochemical Engineering.
  • Civil Engineering: Environmental Engineering, Transportation Economics.
  • Computer Science & Engineering: AI and Robotics, Software Engineering.
  • Electrical Engineering: Signal Processing, Smart Grids, Cybersecurity.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Smart Manufacturing, Turbomachinery.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Humanities & Social Sciences.

We are also open to outstanding candidates in emerging interdisciplinary areas.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Professor:
    • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
    • Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, including 4 years as an Associate Professor.
    • Proven leadership in research, publications, and mentorship.
  2. Associate Professor:
    • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
    • Minimum 6 years of experience, including 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
    • Strong research credentials and academic contributions.
  3. Assistant Professor (Grade I):
    • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
    • Minimum 3 years of teaching/research/industrial experience.
  4. Assistant Professor (Grade II):
    • Ph.D. holders without post-Ph.D. experience may apply for this grade.
  5. Visiting and Retired Professors:
    • Candidates with proven teaching, research, and leadership records are encouraged to apply.

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Competitive pay scales (7th CPC) ranging from Academic Pay Level 10 to 14A.
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other allowances as per central government rules.
  • Start-up research grant of up to ₹30 lakh.
  • Professional Development Allowance of ₹3 lakh every three years.
  • Medical coverage for faculty and dependents.
  • Relocation allowances and campus accommodation.
  • Leave Travel Concession (LTC).
