• Eligibility: A Master's degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD). Exceptional B.Tech candidates with an 8.0+ CGPA from premier institutes can also apply directly for a full-time Ph.D.

• The Entrance Test (PET): A 120-minute exam featuring 50 objective questions on General Knowledge/Research Aptitude and 5 subject-specific master’s level questions. (Note: Candidates with valid NET/GATE/CEED/ICMR scores from the last 3 years are exempt from the written test!)

• The Final Pitch: Qualifying candidates will deliver a Research Proposal Presentation followed by an interview with the University Research Committee.
