Australia’s Mobility Arrangement for Talented Early Professionals Scheme (MATES)
Live and work in Australia for up to 2 years!
The Government of Australia’s Department of Home Affairs has launched a new initiative under the Australia–India Migration and Mobility Partnership Arrangement, known as the Mobility Arrangement for Talented Early Professionals Scheme (MATES).
This program offers young Indian graduates a chance to gain global exposure by living and working in Australia for two years, while contributing to priority sectors such as technology, energy, and innovation.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the MATES Scheme, applicants must:
1️⃣ Be aged between 18 and 30 years at the time of application.
2️⃣ Have graduated within 2 years of the registration date (1 November 2025) from an eligible Indian higher education institution — only the Top 100 institutions listed under the NIRF 2024 Overall Rankings are eligible.
3️⃣ Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in one of the following fields:
- Renewable Energy
- Mining
- Engineering
- Information & Communications Technology (ICT)
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Financial Technology (FinTech)
- Agricultural Technology (AgriTech)
- 4️⃣ Possess proficient English language skills.
