Work & Experience
As A. Director- Sales, I had DUAL responsibility of handling a Product Portfolio (IPCDMA) across the regions and Selling all Products in few Key Accounts in West & South of India. UTStarcom is a global leader in IP-based, end-to-end networking solutions. With UTstarcom, I got the opportunity & exposure to various technologies including IPCDMA,MPLS-T, NGN Softswitch, GEPON, IPTV , RPR, IPDSLAM’s,MSAN, NMS/EMS, OSS/BSS, NBI (XML over TCP) etc.
As National Sales Manager-Key Accounts, I was handling sales of Mobile handsets, reporting to the country head Key responsibilities • Relationship Management with Reliance (CDMA) & Orange-Hutch(GSM) • Managing all aspects of Business in these accounts viz .Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Logistics (procurement & distribution), Services, Legal etc. Key Achievements • Management and Execution of very large deals (~ US 66 Million) with Reliance Infocomm • Breaking into Hutch and getting business (~ US 5 Million) in VLT segment • Establishing CDMA handset sales through Open Channels • Innovative Deals (like MS Phones, VLT-GSMA) on Hutch/Orange Network
