This special issue examines how emerging technologies, institutions, and societies co‑evolve under conditions of systemic uncertainty, including digital and green transitions, geopolitical fragmentation, and rapid AI‑led change. It invites work that connects technological innovation with institutional frameworks, governance regimes, and diverse societal outcomes across firms, universities, public‑sector organisations, and innovation ecosystems.
