This special issue focuses on how generative AI and large language models are changing finance research and practice across asset pricing, markets, intermediation, investment, behavioral finance, banking, accounting, and insurance. It also highlights the need to study ethical implications, financial inclusion, and regulatory or policy responses as these tools become more influential in financial decision-making.
