This special issue—published by Elsevier—investigates how digital transformation, particularly the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data, and digital ecosystems, is fundamentally reshaping organizational knowledge processes. As organizations shift toward more dynamic and decentralized models, the traditional paradigms of knowledge creation, sharing, and utilization are being disrupted. This issue seeks to advance theoretical and empirical understanding of these transitions, focusing on how firms can leverage digital tools while managing the associated complexities of governance, data security, and the human-AI partnership.
