Overview
This special issue—published by Elsevier—explores the critical role of Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) in bridging the gap between educational infrastructure and innovation-driven prosperity in developing countries (the "Global South"). It seeks to move beyond basic structural analyses of the digital divide to examine how TEL can transform educational culture, business models, and knowledge sharing to foster entrepreneurial education and social innovation.

TEL & Entrepreneurial Ecosystems: Identifying the drivers and barriers to adopting TEL in education to stimulate entrepreneurial orientation and innovation opportunities.
Addressing the Digital Divide: Strategies for mitigating digital illiteracy and gender-based or socio-economic exclusion in the adoption of educational technologies.
Systems-Based Perspectives: Investigating the interconnection of social, economic, managerial, technological, and psychological factors in the multi-level process of digital transformation in education.
