This special issue focuses on socially responsible urban freight transport, exploring how city logistics and last‑mile freight systems can be designed and managed to reduce negative societal and environmental impacts while supporting inclusivity. It invites research on innovative urban freight solutions, data‑driven planning, and public–private collaboration that addresses social exclusion, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and people with disabilities.
