About the Special Issue
Hybrid Human-AI Collaborative Networks (HCNs) are becoming a cornerstone of modern digital ecosystems, where humans and artificial intelligence collaborate across organizations, platforms, intelligent systems, and cyber-physical environments to create value and enhance decision-making.
As industries move toward digitally connected, globally distributed, and socio-technical systems, understanding how humans and AI collaborate, adapt, govern, and evolve has become a critical research priority. This Special Issue seeks contributions that advance theoretical foundations, engineering solutions, managerial frameworks, and socio-human perspectives for designing, managing, and sustaining Hybrid Human-AI Collaborative Networks.
The issue builds upon over 26 years of research from the PRO-VE community on collaborative networks and welcomes multidisciplinary contributions spanning engineering, management, manufacturing, logistics, computer science, organization studies, and social sciences.
