About the Special Issue
This Special Issue seeks to advance understanding of how multinational enterprises (MNEs) use international partnerships to create social value and address complex societal challenges.
The issue focuses particularly on multi-stakeholder and cross-border partnerships and examines how institutional environments, partnership structures, organizational capabilities, social purpose, and governance mechanisms influence social value creation.
Researchers are encouraged to provide new theoretical and empirical perspectives on how MNEs collaborate with international partners and stakeholders to address societal problems while balancing economic and social objectives. Multidisciplinary and methodologically rigorous research is particularly encouraged.
