Organizations worldwide are increasingly operating under conditions of political uncertainty, technological disruption, financial constraints, and institutional limitations. Many businesses and social enterprises function in underdeveloped regions, rural communities, geographically isolated areas, conflict zones, and resource-constrained environments where access to technology, skilled labour, and institutional support remains limited.

This Special Issue explores how Knowledge Management (KM) can enable organizations to innovate, remain resilient, and strengthen organizational learning despite these constraints. It aims to advance context-sensitive research that examines the mechanisms and capabilities through which knowledge management supports organizational development and competitiveness in underrepresented and resource-scarce settings.

The issue welcomes conceptual, empirical, comparative, and methodological contributions that generate theoretical and practical insights into the role of KM in constrained environments.
