Overview
This special issue examines how VR, AR, and AI are converging inside connected devices to create smarter, more immersive, and more personalized promotion strategies. It moves beyond single-technology approaches to study how integrated systems can improve customer loyalty, satisfaction, engagement, and consumer-brand interactions. The issue also emphasizes strategic, analytical, and ethical questions that arise when marketers manage convergent smart marketing platforms.

Detailed Scope
The call welcomes conceptual, empirical, and case-based studies on integrated technology frameworks, synergistic promotion strategies, consumer experience and behavior, personalization and context-awareness, and cross-platform omnichannel integration. It also includes data privacy, consent, algorithmic transparency, measurement and analytics, industry applications, human-AI collaboration, and future innovation pathways. The special issue is especially interested in how VR, AR, and AI work together in connected devices and IoT ecosystems to shape the next generation of promotion management.

Submission Information
Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere. Papers should be written in English and follow the journal’s submission guidelines. The abstract should not exceed 100 words and should include 4–7 keywords. All submissions will go through a rigorous peer-review process, and manuscripts should be submitted through the Journal of Promotion Management’s online submission site.
