About the Special Issue
Rapid technological advancements, evolving employment relationships, sustainability pressures, demographic shifts, and increasing workplace uncertainty are reshaping the role of Human Resource Management (HRM). These developments call for renewed reflection on the foundational theories and assumptions that have traditionally guided HRM research and practice.
This Special Issue seeks theoretical, empirical, and conceptual contributions that revisit the core pillars of HRM and explore their relevance in today's dynamic organizational environment. It welcomes research that advances understanding of the HRM–performance relationship, organizational resilience, employee well-being, sustainable HRM, digital transformation, and emerging approaches to workforce management.
