Journal of Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance invites submissions for its Special Issue on Beyond AI Adoption: People Management, Work Design and Sustainable Performance in AI-Enabled Organisations.
About the Special Issue
Artificial Intelligence is transforming human resource management by reshaping recruitment, workforce planning, learning and development, performance management, employee monitoring, and work design. While AI promises greater efficiency and improved decision-making, it also raises critical questions about fairness, transparency, trust, employee wellbeing, inclusion, governance, and sustainable organisational performance.
This Special Issue seeks research that moves beyond AI adoption to examine how AI-enabled HRM systems influence organisational effectiveness through people-centred mechanisms. Contributions are encouraged that explore sustainable HRM, responsible AI governance, employee experience, work quality, capability development, and ethical AI implementation across diverse organisational contexts.
