About the Special Issue
The Journal of Management Development invites innovative Brief Reports (maximum 3,000 words) that explore emerging perspectives on management development in an era shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, rapid technological change, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and evolving workplace dynamics. The Special Issue seeks concise, high-impact research that advances management theory while offering practical solutions for developing future-ready managers.
The issue particularly encourages contributions from Early Career Researchers (ECRs), including PhD and DBA scholars. It welcomes interdisciplinary research that extends existing management theories, explores emerging phenomena, and provides actionable insights for redesigning management education, leadership development, and organisational capability building in rapidly changing business environments.
