The global economy is undergoing significant transformations driven by evolving trade dynamics, financial integration, geopolitical uncertainties, technological advancements, and changing development priorities. Understanding the interconnections between international trade, finance, and economic development has become increasingly important for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners seeking sustainable and inclusive growth pathways.
This Special Issue aims to advance scholarly understanding of the relationships between trade, finance, and development in an increasingly interconnected and rapidly changing global environment. It seeks high-quality theoretical and empirical contributions that offer new insights into contemporary challenges and opportunities in international economics and development studies.
The Special Editors will attend INFER AC 2026 and invite selected conference presenters to submit their papers for consideration in this Special Issue. Additionally, participants from other INFER Workshops whose research aligns with the Special Issue themes will also be encouraged to submit their work.
All invited manuscripts will undergo a rigorous review process coordinated by the Special Editors. Following the completion of the review process, selected papers will be recommended to the Chief Editors of the journal for final confirmation and publication.
