Journal of Intellectual Capital invites submissions for its Special Issue on Intellectual Capital in the Entrepreneurial University: Theory and Practice.
About the Special Issue
Universities are increasingly expected to create value beyond teaching and research through entrepreneurship education, knowledge exchange, technology transfer, academic spin-offs, and ecosystem engagement. However, the processes through which these activities generate sustainable economic and societal impact remain insufficiently understood. This Special Issue positions Intellectual Capital (IC) as a unifying framework to better understand and strengthen the entrepreneurial university.
The Special Issue welcomes research that explores how human, structural, and relational capital are developed, managed, measured, and governed across the entrepreneurial university ecosystem. Contributions addressing entrepreneurship education, innovation management, technology transfer, university-industry collaboration, policy, and regional development are particularly encouraged, with a focus on both theoretical advancement and practical relevance.
