ABOUT THIS SPECIAL ISSUE

JERER devotes this Special Issue in memory of Dr. Paola Lunghini, past president of the European Real Estate Society (ERES), in recognition of her outstanding contribution to encouraging female participation in the real estate sector.

This special issue aims to promote women's scholarship in real estate studies, featuring research articles led by women researchers. By increasing awareness and support for gender diversity, more women are entering and excelling in the real estate industry, urban studies, and academia. These efforts help nurture young female talent, ensuring a steady pipeline of future leaders in both academia and industry.

SPECIAL ISSUE STRUCTURE

This Special Issue comprises two sections:

1. Academic Papers — Full research articles following the journal's double blind review procedure.

2. Letters of Tribute — Researchers and academics who received personal support and friendship from Dr. Paola Lunghini during their careers are warmly invited to submit a one-page letter detailing their personal experience of her mentorship and support.

3. Built environment, urban regeneration, and cities
