Journal of Engineering, Design and Technology invites submissions for its Special Issue on Human-Centric Construction Systems: Ethical Governance, Workforce Development, and Wellbeing.

About the Special Issue

The construction and infrastructure sector is undergoing significant transformation driven by evolving workforce expectations, technological advancement, increasing regulatory requirements, and the growing emphasis on ethical and responsible organisational practices. This Special Issue explores how ethical governance, workforce development, and employee wellbeing can be integrated as strategic pillars of modern construction systems to improve organisational performance and social sustainability.

The issue welcomes high-quality research that advances human-centric construction through empirical, review, and case-based studies. Contributions focusing on ethical leadership, workforce capability, psychosocial wellbeing, digital transformation, competence development, governance frameworks, and sustainable construction practices are particularly encouraged to bridge research, policy, and industry practice.
