Submission Requirements

Authors submitting extended versions of conference papers must satisfy all of the following conditions:

• The journal paper must have a different title from the conference paper.

• The original conference paper must be cited in the manuscript.

• The manuscript must clearly explain, in the first section, how it differs from the conference version and explicitly identify the additional original contributions.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in immediate rejection unless the original conference submission was a Position Paper.

• Expected Publication: May 2027

• Submit your manuscript through the journal's online submission system.

• Select "Virtual issue on SICE Festival 2026 with Annual Conference" as the Special Issue name during submission.

• Authors must submit the designated cover letter. Incomplete cover letters will not be eligible for the expedited review process.

• Accepted papers will be published as part of the annual Virtual Issue. Publication timing may vary depending on the peer-review process.
