The Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies invites submissions for a Special Issue on โClimate Risk, Biodiversity, Geopolitical Risk and Resilient Agri-Food Systems: Comparative Perspectives on Finance, Innovation, and Policy.โ
The Special Issue seeks to advance interdisciplinary research on how climate change, biodiversity loss, and geopolitical disruptions are reshaping agri-food systems across countries and regions. Agriculture and food supply chains are increasingly exposed to environmental degradation, resource scarcity, energy shocks, and transition pressures, making resilience and adaptation critical priorities for policymakers, businesses, and financial systems.
The issue particularly focuses on the role of finance, technological innovation, and public policy in strengthening agri-food resilience, supporting sustainable transitions, and addressing interconnected environmental and economic challenges.
