This special issue invites interdisciplinary, data-driven, and technology-enhanced research that connects economics, finance, and business with major global challenges. The call emphasizes climate change, big data, financial technology, equality, diversity, and sustainable transformation in a rapidly changing world.

The editors particularly encourage submissions that combine theoretical insight with practical innovation. The aim is to advance understanding of complex economic systems and support evidence-based policymaking and business strategy through cross-disciplinary methods.

Scope
The special issue welcomes work on sustainable transition and climate economics, including growth and structural transition, labor, health, carbon markets, carbon accounting, renewable energy, environmental regulation, and ecology. It also seeks papers on technology-driven economic systems such as AI-driven financial markets, machine learning, low-carbon technology, green supply chains, and the digital economy. Additional themes include equity, diversity, globalization, trade, investment, climate governance, international collaboration, innovative business models, public governance, taxation, green fiscal policy, financial econometrics, asset pricing, green finance, regional coordination, urban resilience, and green development.
