Introduction
Female senior entrepreneurship—nascent/early-stage entrepreneurial activities by women in later working-life or post-retirement phases—remains under-researched despite growing senior entrepreneurship literature and persistent gender gaps. This Special Issue examines motivations, institutional contexts, performance outcomes, well-being impacts, and macro-economic contributions of elderly female entrepreneurs amid global demographic aging.
