Overview
This special issue examines modern slavery and human trafficking through criminology, criminal law, legal theory, and socio-legal studies. It focuses on the evolution of these crimes, victim protection and redress, legal responsibility of involved actors, and the role of the digital ecosystem in enabling exploitation. The issue also seeks solutions and strategies to address emerging transnational threats and the misuse of technology.

Submission Details
Submit abstracts and biographical details by 1 Sep 2026 via the online form.
Only approved abstracts will be invited for manuscript submission.
Final manuscripts must be submitted by 31 Dec 2026.
Manuscripts should include a title page with professional title, name, affiliation, email, and bio.
Follow APA 7 formatting throughout.
