International Journal of Development Issues invites submissions for its Special Issue on Intra-African Trade and Development in a Changing World: Sustainability, Skills, Governance, and Innovation.
About the Special Issue
This Special Issue explores how intra-African trade can accelerate sustainable economic development, innovation, and regional prosperity across the continent. It aims to bring together interdisciplinary research on trade, governance, sustainability, entrepreneurship, education, digital transformation, logistics, and social inclusion to generate practical and policy-relevant insights for Africa's evolving development landscape.
The issue welcomes conceptual, empirical, comparative, and policy-focused research that examines the opportunities, challenges, and outcomes of intra-African trade. Contributions that offer rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations for policymakers, practitioners, and development scholars are particularly encouraged.
