Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (EMFT), in collaboration with the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad (UoH), and the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), invites submissions for a Special Issue on โEmerging Market Issues in the Asia-Pacific Region.โ
This Special Issue is linked to the Second India Conference on Geopolitical Tensions, International Trade and Economic Growth in the Asia-Pacific Region, scheduled to be held on 30 December 2026 at the University of Hyderabad.
The conference and Special Issue aim to bring together academicians, researchers, policymakers, and financial market experts to examine the growing impact of geopolitical tensions on trade, finance, and economic development across the Asia-Pacific region.
Particular emphasis is placed on understanding how ongoing geopolitical conflicts, especially in West Asia, along with evolving fiscal, monetary, and external policies, influence international trade flows, supply chains, investment patterns, and economic growth prospects in emerging markets.
The Special Issue seeks high-quality theoretical and empirical research that advances understanding of the complex relationships between geopolitical uncertainty, international trade, financial markets, and economic stability.
