This special issue addresses how the human side of organizations—values, leadership, culture, and employee engagement—shapes sustainability in the AI‑driven Industry 5.0 context. It moves beyond efficiency‑focused Industry 4.0 narratives and calls for work that embeds humanity, ethics, and social responsibility into digital transformation. The SI invites interdisciplinary research that links human‑centred management, sustainability, and AI‑mediated workplaces to generate actionable insights for purpose‑driven, resilient organizations.

The special issue opens for submissions on 30 March 2026 and closes on 30 June 2026.
