Corporate Governance invites submissions for its Special Issue on “Technology, Corporate Governance, and Innovative Management Practices for Sustainable Transformation and Responsible Society.”
About the Special Issue
Rapid advances in technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data analytics are transforming how organizations approach governance, sustainability, compliance, and responsible management. These technologies offer opportunities to enhance climate resilience, energy efficiency, social outcomes, and sustainable development while simultaneously introducing challenges related to cybersecurity, privacy, transparency, algorithmic bias, and accountability.
Existing research has primarily examined outcomes such as ESG performance, disclosure, and organizational performance. However, comparatively less attention has been given to the internal organizational processes and managerial innovations through which technological change is embedded responsibly and sustainably.
This Special Issue seeks to advance research at the intersection of technology, corporate governance, innovative management, and sustainability. It particularly encourages studies examining how organizations can integrate technological innovation responsibly while addressing governance challenges and supporting sustainable societal transformation.
The issue also welcomes critical perspectives on the unintended consequences of technological transformation, including power imbalances, exclusion, inequality, ethical tensions, and fairness.
