This Special Issue invites interdisciplinary and methodologically innovative research exploring the intersection of digital technology, corporate governance, innovative management practices, sustainability, and responsible societal transformation.
About the Special Issue
Rapid advances in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, and data analytics are creating new opportunities for organizations to improve sustainability, strengthen resilience, enhance resource efficiency, and contribute to broader social and environmental objectives.
At the same time, digital transformation introduces significant governance challenges involving cybersecurity, privacy, transparency, algorithmic bias, fairness, inclusion, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
The Special Issue particularly seeks research that goes beyond organizational outcomes such as ESG performance and reporting to investigate the internal organizational processes and managerial innovations through which technological and sustainable transformation is embedded within organizations.
It also encourages critical examination of the unintended consequences of technological transformation, including power imbalances, exclusion, inequality, and ethical concerns.
