Overview
The rise of AI-mediated channels and the shift toward remote/hybrid work have fundamentally transformed internal communication. This special issue explores how organizations can leverage new technologies—such as AI chatbots, virtual assistants, and collaborative platforms—to foster trust, voice, and inclusion. Moving beyond traditional metrics of engagement, this issue seeks to examine how internal communication can function as a human-centered system that mediates identity and belonging in increasingly digitized workplaces, contributing directly to UN Sustainable Development Goals 3, 8, and 10.
