This Article Collection explores bribery risk management and anti-bribery practices within sport organizations. While anti-bribery management systems have gained increasing recognition across industries, the effectiveness of their implementation varies significantly across sectors.
The collection investigates whether sport organizations possess unique advantages in implementing anti-bribery measures due to the sector's core values of integrity, ethics, and fair play. At the same time, it recognizes that intense competition, financial flows, sponsorship arrangements, gambling connections, player transfers, event bidding, and federation politics create distinct bribery vulnerabilities within the sport ecosystem.
The issue aims to advance interdisciplinary understanding of anti-bribery management, ethics, stakeholder management, governance, and risk management in sports organizations.
