This special issue examines how AI is reshaping business ecosystems in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on innovation, ethics, and governance in AI-driven digital transformation. It looks at how technologies such as machine learning, big data, and intelligent automation influence strategy, supply chains, green innovation, labor markets, and institutional arrangements in culturally diverse Asia-Pacific contexts.

Scope and submission note
Papers must focus on Asia-Pacific countries (especially East and South-East Asia) and cannot be based solely on countries outside the region. Comparative studies are welcome as long as at least one of the listed Asia-Pacific economies (e.g., China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, etc.) is included. When submitting via the online system, authors should select the special issue title “Rethinking AI-based business ecosystem in the Asia Pacific.”
