About the Special Issue
Anatolia invites original research submissions for its Special Issue on "The Role of AI in Sustainability in Tourism and Hospitality."
The tourism and hospitality industry is undergoing rapid technological transformation while simultaneously addressing increasing environmental, social, and economic sustainability challenges. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a powerful tool to optimize operations, improve resource efficiency, enhance customer experiences, strengthen organizational resilience, and support sustainable destination development.
Despite growing interest in AI-driven sustainability solutions, empirical evidence within tourism and hospitality remains limited. This Special Issue seeks multidisciplinary contributions that explore how AI technologies can support sustainable business models, operational resilience, environmental management, and responsible tourism practices across the sector.
