About the Special Issue

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the tourism and hospitality sector by enabling smarter operations, improving resource efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and supporting sustainable business practices. As organizations face increasing environmental, social, and operational challenges, AI has emerged as a powerful tool for strengthening resilience, optimizing decision-making, and advancing sustainable destination development.

This Special Issue seeks multidisciplinary research that examines how AI contributes to sustainability across tourism and hospitality.
